Se Vedder è un poeta che pochi conoscono

Ok, lo confesso, sono un fanatico dei Pearl Jam. Li ascoltai per la prima volta nel 1992, vivevo a Seattle che allora era il centro del mondo e del movimento GRUNGE. Io non ero grunge, non potevo esserlo, geneticamente incompatibile, ma amavo la musica da vivo in locali tossici e con l'eterna pioggerella di Seattle che annaquava tutto, felicità e tristezza in egual modo mentre si ascoltavano i cento piccoli gruppi di allora. A quei tempi ci si divideva tra amanti dei Pearl Jam e amanti dei Nirvana (Beatles vs Rolling Stones). Io amavo, amo  e amerò i versi di un ex-benzinaio che risponde al nome di Eddie Vedder. Qui due esempi che possono spiegare perchè ogni tanto canto a squarciagola in auto (tanto nessuno sente, fortuna...l'importante che la mia anima ascolti e si senta meglio). I video sono qui accanto.
